High Efficiency Core
An efficient radiator is one of the most important parts of your cooling system. XDP's X-TRA Cool Radiators feature a high-efficiency core that has more fins per inch, and heavy-duty tubes to maximize cooling capabilities.
Using special aluminum brazing techniques and internally reinforced end tubes, the X-TRA Cool Radiators are built to have additional strength at the outside corners where the core is most vulnerable.
A common failure point in the OE radiator. X-TRA Cool Radiators are built with a proprietary rubber gasket to allow for expansion, contraction, and the ability to handle the flex in the front end of your truck.
Revised Tank Design
X-TRA Cool Radiators feature revised end tanks for added strength and durability. Reinforcement ribs are strategically added to weak points, and the plastic mix includes a fiber reinforcement that is added during tank construction.
Upgraded Mounting Points
The integrated mounting points have been strengthened for added longevity. This extra step allows the X-TRA Cool Radiator to be securely mounted in the same factory locations as the stock radiator.
The Tanks on an X-TRA Cool Radiator are attached to the core with a heavy gauge steel crimp strip. XDP uses steel to hold the tanks on, not aluminum like the factory. This heavy duty crimp helps eliminate the tank and core separation failures many experience with the factory radiator.
